1960
Tercon was established in 1960 by John Hunter Snr as a groundwork sub-contractor.
1977
Tercon becomes a limited company.
1980 – 1999
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s the company steadily established a good reputation for service and expertise with many of the major construction companies by providing sub-contract and package specialist groundwork services.
Built on reputation the business expanded into main contract works, delivering turnkey civil engineering and construction projects to customers across the region.
2000
Since 2000 the directors have progressively developed a strong foundation for growth.
This development has included many control measures, management procedures and disciplines brought to the business by highly experienced industry professionals.
Tercon continues to deliver industry leading standards whilst maintaining the feel of a regional owner managed business with director level involvement delivered to each and every project.
2009
In March 2009 the company re-located from it’s 20 year home in Bedminster to a new purpose re-furbished office, store and substantial yard on a self contained site in Avonmouth, close to the M4/M5 interchange.
